20. Relationships are connections formed between two personalities. Age is a relevant factor only as far as that personality connection is concerned. With some, a lack of experience can be an obstacle towards building a healthy relationship. For others, it might be the naivete or the immaturity. But an age disparity is really a nonissue as long as both partners in a relationship share similar perspectives on the important issues. And that’s even more true the older you get. Obviously, a five year difference is pretty big for a 7th grader and a high school senior. But for college grads, five years could be considered almost nothing.
